I chose to write about the Olsen twins, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are twins that most people cannot even tell apart. They are not identical but fraternal, meaning they develop from the fertilization of two separate eggs with two different sperm. Mary Kate being one inch taller than Ashley. Ashley is right-handed and Mary Kate is left-handed. Mary Kate, and Ashley, born (June 13, 1986). Ashley being 2 minutes older than Mary Kate. Both the Olsen twins are known for being businesswomen, fashion designers’, equestrians, and former actors. Mary Kate Olsen’s acting career began at the age of nine months. Share her role as Michelle with her twin sister Ashley in the sitcom Full House (1987 ? 1995). Both sisters retired from acting to focus on fashion. The Olsen twins were the youngest executive producers in Hollywood history and had a combined net worth of (500 million). The Olsen twins were the victims of severe physical and mental illness, relentless bullying in the tabloids and the loss of close former Co- star but overcame it all. As of today, the Olsen twins no longer act, and they are successful fashion designers. Ashley Olsen recently welcomed her first child with her husband Luis Eisner and as of (October 22, 2023), Mary Kay Olsen did not have any children. Mary Kay is the most famous Olsen sibling with a net worth of over (250 million). The family consists of an elder brother Trent, and a younger sister, actress Elizabeth, half-sister Courtney Teller and half-brother Jake. 2. A family not mentioned that I thought of that is successful is the Wayans family. Ten siblings, five girls and five boys are known for acting, producing, composing, and comedy. I chose this famous group of siblings because they were in some of the most memorable movies growing up. They came from a middle-class family. Both parents worked. The family of ten siblings, five brothers and five sisters, was born to Elvira Wayans ? a homemaker and social worker ? and Howell Wayans, a supermarket manager (People, 2023). While this family is renowned the sisters don?t seem to get as much recognition as the brothers. I don?t believe it is intentional, but it just supports that men get more time in mainstream media. While this happens, it doesn?t seem to alter the love and compassion they show for one another. And even though society constructs gender roles in homes, they don?t allow this to take away from their sibling?s achievements. Sisters not only do much of the caretaking, but they also tend to share more intimacy and have more intense relationships than brothers, although they typically get less glory than brothers do (McGoldrick, 2016). There were reports and messages from the children on social media platforms that they were raised as a tight-knit family and had great parents as hard-working examples. Socially they started from a middle-class family and worked hard collectively to achieve success as a family. Together, the siblings have managed to build a comedic empire, and have revolutionized the world of entertainment as we know it (People, 2023).

Question: If you were a celebrity and realized most of your interviews for talk shows etc., were about your siblings and not your accolades, how would you respond? Do you think it is a negative thing when reports and talk show hosts shift the focus from the person they?re interviewing to one of their siblings?
