For this course you will be required to produce a project. The project consists of 10 page paper written in APA format.
Using an agency’s Disaster Operations Plan or Emergency Operations Plan, provide a summary of the plan that includes the following:
How does the plan compare to what you learned in this course?;
What are the strengths of the plan?
Do you have recommendations for improvement?
How is this plan tested or validated?
What type(s) of exercises are used?
What is your general impression about the plan and the s ability to perform in the face of risk?
You will be graded on content and your APA writing style. The grading rubric located in the final project folder will be used to calculate your final grade. As a result, I suggest using each of the above questions as a header and then post your response. The 10 page requirement does not include the title page, abstract, or reference pages. The word count is for your scholarly research. Non-scholarly sources will be acceptable. Professional writing is extremely important in your college career and professional life. This is a chance to learn and excel in this area. College professors and employers look for individuals with professional writing skills.
