To begin choosing research topics for the quarter-long Spark Grant Project.
Assignments
In an MLA-formatted Word document or PDF, respond to the following prompts.
- In your own words, explain the purpose of the Spark Grant Project, what I expect you to turn in at the end of the quarter and what skills the project should help you develop. (100+ word minimum)
- Review the previous Spark Grant recipients on the spark project and identify 2 Spark Grant projects that stand out to you and explain why. What are some of the social issues or community needs these projects address? (100+ word minimum)
- Share 1 social issue or community need you are considering for your Spark Grants project. Explain why you’re thinking about these issue/need and describe your current knowledge on the topic. If you don’t have much knowledge on the topics, where do you think you could get information? (Two paragraph minimum)
- After reviewing the materials in the Spark Grant Project Overview, ask at least one question you have about the project.
